Executive Director

Val is a music teacher and passionate organizer working to expand and enrich the community singing experience through world music camps, festivals, and workshops. Val has toured professionally with the vocal ensemble Northern Harmony, performing and teaching South African and other world vocal musics in western Europe. Intensely drawn to southern African choral singing since first encountering it over a decade ago, Val’s devotion to learning and sharing this choral tradition is driven by the powerful sense of joy and bonding people experience through expressing this music. In addition, Val brings 20 years of successful non-profit leadership and fundraising experience in arts and environmental organizations to her role as Executive Director of Rogue World Music.


Communications & Events Manager

Ana brings a wide and varied background of experiences to Rogue World Music. As performer with a history in theatre, film, movement, voice-over and narration work, music, and singing, she is a dedicated lover of the arts and an outspoken advocate for the sense connection, understanding, and voice that the arts can bring to a community. She has a degree in Theatre Arts, with an emphasis in performance, and will soon complete a secondary education in Nonprofit Management.  In addition to her background in performance, Ana has helped produce and stage many successful, large-scale, nonprofit-fundraising events in the past 6 years for Rogue Valley organizations connected to the arts, environmental stewardship, health-care, local farmers, and artisanal crafting.

Choristers Music Director

Jenifer is a musical performer, composer, educator, and entertainer who delights in bringing people together through music, movement and play. Jenifer picked up her first instrument at the age of four, playing the violin, piano, trumpet and oboe before discovering her instrument of true calling: the saxophone! Jen has degrees in saxophone performance, composition, and digital music, as well as a background in theatre and movement. She is an Artist in Residence at the Britt Festival, an Adjunct Professor at SOU, and a Musical Artist in the Schools through Carnegie Hall’s LINKUP program. Through her JenUwin Playtime franchise, she offers musical playshops, kid-friendly concerts, and children’s entertainment

Jen is excited to be directing the Rogue World Choristers Clubs and helping kids tap into a world of joy!
